Pony Express Horse Show Circuit

The PEHSC is a multi-breed horse show circuit serving the four-state areas of Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska. We have an extensive point system for our exhibitors and members to encourage participation. High Point recipients are recognized with awards at our annual Year End Awards Banquet held in January. We publish an annual show book, listing our show dates and show bills. This book is freely distributed at our Spring Kick Off and Tack Sale; as well as available at most of the affiliated shows.

The Pony Express Horse Show Circuit is proud to present the William Loftin Memorial Scholarship to one of our youth exhibitors. We encourage all of our youth to participate and make the scholarship a goal. This Scholarship is awarded at our January Awards Banquet.

Half way thru show season! We've survived rain dates, lighting strikes and sizzling hot temps!!! Hang in there! I've been asked to extend a gratitude of THANKS from all the show managers for the exhibitors participation..in spite of high gas prices and the economy the shows have been greatly supported . As show season progresses please note some changes to the following shows:

AUGUST 9 K.C.R.F.T.H.A. SHOW.....In a printing error of the PEHSC BOOK..class 31 was dropped from the page...CLASS 31 OPEN PLEASURE HORSE- WESTERN EQUIP., OPEN. WALK,OPTIONAL GAIT, CANTER " THIS CLASS WILL OCCUR AND WILL COUNT AS POINTS."

SEPT 7 LAZY J---WILL NOT BE A DOUBLE JUDGED SHOW ......WILL PROCEED AS A REGULAR SHOW ..if you have any questions please call Jessica Maynaard, or Ashley carter, or Shannon walker.

ATTENTION ALL PONY EXPRESS RIDERS

Eastern Kansas will host their Pony Express Horse Show Circuit Show on Saturday, September 13, 2008.

We have some new and exciting events this year!

Knowing that by September, the thought of bathing one's horse is not quite as exciting as it was in May....

our Youth Organization invites you to bring your horse to the Longview Horse Park between 12:00 PM and 2 PM and let our Youth Group do the dirty work! They will bathe your horse before the day's show for free!!!

In an attempt to recognize and encourage all youth riders, all of our Youth 17 and Under Classes will have no entry fees and the winner of any of the 17 and Under classes will be given a free youth membership

in our Eastern Kansas Arabian Club. We have a new professional concession stand group

coming and serving a variety of foods so come hungry and come to have plenty of fun!

Until further notice we will print showbills with text and line-graphics (no photos) and show information pages only. If our new Directory Coordinator determines at some future time, we will try to make non-show advertising once again available to our membership.
